- Write your name on the examination envelope and any examination material.
- Double-check to make sure the number that appears on both parts of your exam matches the number beside your name on the sign in sheet.
- The value of the examination question appears in bracket to the left.
- Use a ruler and proper color-codes where required. Neatness is important. Complete diagrams on pages as instructed.
- Do all your calculations on the reverse side of the answer sheet. Where calculations are not required, the appropriate code rule, sub rule, paragraph, sub-paragraph, or clause will be accepted in lieu of a written answer.
- Examination content is of a confidential nature and may not be reviewed by candidates either prior to writing an examination or after an examination has been written.
- Copying or removing material from the examination room will result in disqualification.
- Cell phones are restricted in the examination room.
- All calculators, incorporating tapes or alphanumerical pads are restricted from use in writing examinations. Otherwise, remove batteries and erase all preprogramming in the alphanumerical calculators.
- Communicating with other candidates during the exam is prohibited.
- Only one candidate at a time is permitted to leave the room (i.e. washroom) unless accompanied by invigilator.
- Do not ask questions of the examiner once the examination commenced, other than in exceptional circumstances.
- Candidates requesting examination marks will be told their marks if they have failed.
A passing grade is 75% or higher.
