Alberta’s safety codes system relies on partnerships to bring safety to a local level. Accredited organizations, whether municipalities, corporations, or agencies deliver the safety codes system by managing permits and inspections.

 

Delegated Administrative Organizations oversee the certification requirements and training of safety codes officers in the Amusement Ride, Elevator, Passenger Ropeway, and Boilers and Pressure Vessels disciplines. All these work together to make Alberta a safe place to live, work and play.
