Electrical utility installations governed by the edition of the Alberta Electrical Utility Code declared in-force in Alberta.
Journeyman electrician, power lineman, or power system electrician certification recognized in Alberta
six (6) years of relevant work experience as a journeyman electrician, power lineman or power system electrician; or
Electrical engineering technologist diploma recognized in Canada
eight (8) years of relevant work experience after receiving that diploma; or
Electrical engineering degree recognized in Canada
eight (8) years of relevant work experience after receiving that degree.
work experience is that related to generation, distribution and transmission systems.
