The Safety Codes Act lays the framework for a comprehensive and progressive public safety system for Alberta -- developed and operated by the people who use it. The Safety Codes Council has developed and adopted policies describing how Alberta's safety system operates under this Act. To help you understand the safety system, these policies are published by the Safety Codes Council. The Policy Manual provides details specific to a subject area, discipline requirement, or type of organization.
