Competency Analyses
The Safety Codes Council has developed Competency Analyses and DACUM charts for Safety Codes Officers in eight of the nine disciplines covered under the Safety Codes Act.
Industry groups developed these analyses by identifying the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed by Safety Codes Officers to perform their duties. The competencies were compiled and validated by the respective industry committees.
