Professional Involvement Foundations for Safety Codes Officers
A free online course from the Safety Codes Council to help you understand professional involvement in Alberta building projects — who's responsible, when it's required, and how to navigate it with confidence.
This course is released in phases, starting with the basics and building to more advanced and practical topics.

SCOs can report 1 continuing education credit per completed module. Credits will not be automatically reported. See the Continuing Education page for instruction on reporting credits.

Yes. The modules are designed to build on one another, so completing them in sequence is recommended.

Yes. This course is being released in phases. Additional modules will be added as they are developed.
Do I receive continuing education credits?
Yes! SCOs can report 1 continuing education credit for each module, making this a great opportunity to earn credits while building your knowledge of professional involvement.
