Complaints Investigations

The Council supports the Minister of Municipal Affairs in the administration of the Safety Codes System. Under the authority granted by the Mandate and Roles document, the Council has been given the authority to investigate issues that come to our attention.

The Council objectively investigates complaints to determine whether the certified individual or accredited organization have acted according to standards such as their terms of accreditation, scopes of practice or quality management. See the complaints policy for a full description.
