Free Continuing Education Opportunity: Firestop Training
Firestop University from Hilti
Hilti is offering 3 dates for a free four-hour workshop geared towards the inspection community. The course will review the principles of firestopping, take a deep dive into code requirements, review alternative solutions, and discuss best practices.

The Safety Codes Council has partnered with Hilti to provide SCOs with a free one-hour webinar on firestop principles. This opportunity will provide an overview of firestopping as it relates to Building Code, an understanding of UL tested systems, and a review of the testing methods that go into designing firestop listings.
