Call for speakers now open for Summit 2026
The Safety Codes Council is now accepting speaker proposals for Summit 2026, Alberta’s premier gathering of safety codes professionals, taking place October 20-22 at the Edmonton Convention Centre.
Summit 2026 is an opportunity to shape what comes next by sharing practical knowledge, insights, and real‑world experience with a highly engaged safety codes audience. This year’s program is intentionally forward‑looking, focused on learning, innovation, and how the system continues to evolve.
Aligned with the theme Next Starts Here, we’re inviting presenters to challenge thinking, share lessons learned, and contribute to conversations about how safety codes work is understood, supported, and carried forward across Alberta.
Presenters play a vital role in advancing conversations around learning, innovation and the future of the safety codes system. This Call for Speakers invites sessions that fall under one or both of the following streams:
- Stream 1: Technical & practice-focused session
This session is focused on technical content, applied learning, new technology, code or industry updates, or practical guidance that supports day-to-day work.
- Stream 2: System, leadership and future-focused session
This session is focused on system-level change, leadership, collaboration, culture, or forward-looking questions shaping the future of the safety codes system.
