First look at Summit 2026 speakers
As we inch closer to Summit 2026, we are pleased to reveal the first look at our speaker lineup for the three-day event.
This year’s speakers reflect the spirit of the Summit theme, Next Starts Here, by bringing together leaders, practitioners, innovators, and industry experts who will challenge attendees to think differently about their work. Through presentations, panel discussions, learning sessions, and breakout sessions, attendees will gain practical insights, new ideas, and valuable connections to help shape what comes next.
This year’s program features a diverse lineup of speakers with a variety of topics. Confirmed sessions include:
- Cameron Bardas (City of Edmonton) exploring professional reliance, alternative solutions, and regulatory efficiency.
- Tess Espejo (UL Solutions) discussing fire safety considerations in data centres and other emerging technologies.
- Chelsah Thomas (Sol Invictus Energy Services) sharing insights into NBC 9.36 energy code compliance and performance-path reviews.
- Darrell Paul (BTRboard Inc.) examining how wall assemblies can be evaluated through code objectives, performance, and real-world building science.
- Patric Langevin (NRC LEEP) demonstrating tools designed to support compliance with evolving energy code requirements.
