Free Variance Webinar Coming December 8

The Safety Codes Council is hosting a free, one-hour variance webinar that will cover the changes to variance refusal appeals that come into effect on December 1, 2021.

This webinar will take place December 8 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. It is a condensed version of the Council’s full-length variance workshop with a particular focus on refusals and appeals. The topics covered include:

• Overview of variances
• SCO responsibilities
• SCO refusal of a variance
• Appeals of a written notice of variance refusal
• Possible outcomes of an appeal
